As the title of today's blog "The healing herbs"  Today we are going to know about some healing herbs which helps us to heal not only externally but also internally. India and herbs are interconnected from ancient times as I said in my previous blog. The spices and herbs are part of our history. Natural thinks are always good and beneficial for our health. Our ancestors was always treated by these natural medicines but now people take it underrated. People thinks turmeric doesn't work on your cuts but anti septic cream will.

Herbs have been used for centuries in different cultures to treat various diseases and improve overall health. The knowledge passed down through generations has provided us with a treasure trove of remedies that are accessible, affordable, and often free from harmful side effects.

 Let's take a look which herb will work for your problem. 

Certainly! Here are the healing properties of the herbs and spices I mentioned in these blog. 

1) Ginger ( Adrak ): Ginger is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and is often used to aid digestion and relieve nausea and motion sickness. If you have headache you can drink ginger tea it will soothe headache pain or reduce nausea. 

2) Garlic ( Lahasun) : Garlic has antimicrobial and immune-boosting properties. It may help reduce blood pressure and cholesterol levels and has been used traditionally to support heart health. Consume with any vegetable. 

3) Chilli ( Mirchi ): Chilli peppers contain compound called capsaicin, which gives them their spicy taste. Capsaicin has pain-relieving properties and can help clear congestion. Also chilli can regulate your blood circulation and helps in heart problems. 

4) Nutmeg ( Jaayaphal ): Nutmeg has antioxidant properties and is often used as a natural remedy for digestive issues and to promote relaxation and sleep. The nutmeg powder is an effective remedy for insomnia. 

5) Cloves ( Laung ): Cloves have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. They can be used to alleviate toothaches, soothe digestive discomfort, and provide relief from respiratory conditions. Indian use cloves in tea for good taste.

Also if you have too much periods cramps then, Everyday drink warm milk with raw turmeric and sugar if you want. Everyday means everyday not just in periods. I'm telling you with my experience, this will work like magic. 

7) Cumin ( Jeera ): Cumin seeds have been used for their digestive properties. They may help alleviate bloating, gas, and indigestion. And helps in burning calories by increasing the speed of metabolism and improving digestion. 
People eat cumin and later drink water in digestion related problem. Can cook with vegetable and then consume. 

8) Fenugreek ( Methi ): Fenugreek seeds are known for their potential to improve blood sugar control and support healthy cholesterol levels. They are also used to promote milk production in breastfeeding women. Also beneficial against hair fall, baldness and hair thinning. Soak fenugreek in water for a night and eat in the morning on empty stomach. If it taste too bitter, boil them in water it will taste better and easier to chew and swallow. 

9) Cinnamon ( Daalacheenee ): Cinnamon has been used traditionally to help regulate blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity. It also has antioxidant properties. It kills the bacteria in your mouth, which is cause of bad breath. 

10) Pepper ( Kali mirch ): Black pepper contains a compound called piperine, which has been shown to enhance the absorption of certain nutrients. It also has antioxidant and antimicrobial properties.

11) Star Anise ( Chakr phool ): Star anise has been used in traditional medicine for its antibacterial and antiviral properties. It is often used to soothe coughs and relieve digestive issues.

12) Carom seeds ( Ajavain ): Carom seeds, also known as ajwain seeds, have been used for centuries for their medicinal properties. They aid digestion, relieve acidity, and help with coughs and colds. They are also beneficial for respiratory health, act as a pain reliever, improve oral health, enhance appetite, and provide relief from menstrual cramps.
Consume half table spoon of carom seed along with water will help you stomach related issues. You can also cook agvain with milk and drink it. 
13) Vanilla: Vanilla has been used traditionally for its calming and mood-enhancing properties. It may also have antioxidant effects and help reduce inflammation.

14) Cardamom ( ilayachi ): Cardamom has been used to aid digestion and freshen breath. It may also have antimicrobial properties and help reduce blood pressure. Use it in tea for good taste.
