Consuming curd and sugar before stepping out to do something new and important is considered good luck. But the science behind it is that curd has a cooling effect on the stomach and the sugar immediately provides glucose which makes your work easier.
My opinion, I think this one have logic. What do you think?
2. Not to sleep facing the north
The Earth has strong magnetic forces that are most concentrated at the North and South Poles. If you sleep with your head facing the North, the magnetic field of your body can disrupt the Earth's magnetic field. This can affect your blood pressure and may even cause heart issues. Your heart has to work harder to deal with this disruption.
My opinion, this must be not superstition
3. Don't cut nail after sunset.
This is not true that we don't have any equipments for cutting nails even that time we we cut grafite in perfect shape. The only reason i can possibly say is the absence of light ..... next is that you don't get to find if any nail falls on floor .... cz then you are again not allowed to sweep at night cz Lakshmi ji ( God of money ) chali jati hai .... That's had a same reason lack of light which may sweep away coins and valuables and you don't notice it ... so " lakshmi ji " sach me chali jati thị ...
My opinion, For this ear this one is doesn't have logic.
5. Washing or cutting hair on Tuesday or Thursday is considered as bad luck.
Washing or reducing hair on Tuesdays or Thursdays are taken into consideration to be terrible success however there may be no fact on this because it turned into one of the water control practices . And moreover , all through the ones days , barbers were given vacation on the ones days . So , simply to offer them a vacation human beings do not reduce hair on the ones days
My opinion, I think this was useful in ancient time .
6. Bath after attending funeral ceremony.
Earlier it was necessary to take a bath after attending a funeral ceremony because our ancestors did not have vaccination against smallpox, hepatitis and other deadly diseases. So they came up with the ritual of bathing in order to prevent themselves from any infection spreading from the dead body.
My opinion, this one definitely have logic
7. Nimbu mirchu fir evil eye ( buri najar).
Nimbu mirchi is very common in Indian society but unfortunately not everyone knows the actually reason let me tell you the science behind it in the old times , people used to go in forest to cut woods & Feed their cows & animals , Lemon / Lemonade is hydrating for our body & Chillies protect us from snakes as snakes hate the smell of any kind of pepper ..
My opinion, have logic I must say
8. Don't stand under peepal trees at night.
In India, a lot of people think that Peepal trees are where ghosts live, and they believe it's dangerous to go near them or sleep under them at night because they might get haunted or killed.
However, there's a scientific explanation for this. If we breathe in a lot of carbon dioxide, we might become unconscious for a while. Peepal trees are large and can release a lot of carbon dioxide at night. That's why it's recommended not to sleep under a Peepal tree at night.
My opinion, obviously have logic
9. If a black cat crosses your path, it's a bad omen.
In India, people often connect the color black with Lord Shani. They believe that if a black cat crosses your path, it's considered unlucky. To avoid the bad luck, they suggest letting someone else go ahead of you after the black cat crosses, so that person bears the bad luck instead. However, the reasoning behind this belief is unknown to me.
My opinion, don't have logic.
10. Itchy palms mean that money is coming your way.
There are differing beliefs surrounding itchy palms. While some associate itchy palms with greed, others interpret the sensation as an indication of future financial gains. According to one belief, an itching left palm signifies that money is on its way to you, while an itching right palm suggests that money may be leaving your possession.
My opinion, this one also a superstition.
